Banner Health MD Anderson Cancer Center

During the pre-production phase, we engaged in detailed discussions with our client to understand their objectives and vision for the project. Through these conversations, we uncovered the poignant narrative of Tabitha, a flight nurse at Banner Health, who underwent breast flap reconstruction surgery following numerous false positive ultrasounds and CT scans indicating breast cancer. Opting for a prophylactic mastectomy, Tabitha's courageous decision aimed to alleviate the burden of potential cancer diagnoses for her and her family. Recognizing the uniqueness of this procedure, exclusively offered by MD Anderson Cancer Center in Northern Colorado through Banner Health, our client sought a compelling video to be showcased at an upcoming gala event, attended by esteemed cancer physicians.

Video Production

Executing our vision, we meticulously planned the production schedule, coordinating with helicopter flights and crew to ensure efficiency and productivity. The production phase encompassed two days, with the first dedicated to capturing an interview with Tabitha in the helicopter hangar, alongside captivating footage of her in flight. Notably, our director, Anthony Stengel, experienced his inaugural helicopter ride, adding an element of excitement to the process. On the second day, we filmed an interview with one of the nation's top surgeons, renowned for expertise in microsurgical procedures, within the confines of the ICU at Banner Hospital in Greeley, Colorado.

Video Post-production

In the post-production phase, we meticulously curated the narrative, selected music, crafted sound design, and applied color grading techniques, all with the aim of weaving Tabitha's story into a compelling visual masterpiece. Every element was carefully chosen to maximize emotional impact and resonance, ensuring the video would leave a lasting impression on the gala audience.

Video Delivery

The culmination of our efforts resulted in a resounding success. Our client was ecstatic with the final product, and the video played a pivotal role in the success of the gala event. Not only did it contribute to raising funds for the procedure, but it also heightened awareness of its availability to residents of Northern Colorado. Stengel Media takes immense pride in our contribution to this meaningful project, showcasing the power of storytelling to inspire and effect change.
