Dying Light

(Emmy Winning) Dying Light explores the life of a neon tube bender in Wyoming.  With cheap imitation LED neon signs flooding markets, is the art of true neon sign building dead?  We explore Connie Morgan’s journey to save the craft of neon tube bending in Dying Light.

Dying Light was a commissioned piece by Wyoming PBS for their series “Our Wyoming” where they highlight many different topics surrounding the amazing places and people in Wyoming. Produced by Stengel Media, a goal of dying light was to capture the bright colors and shapes of the neon signs and how Connie is able to craft beautiful signs and the struggles with running a niche business in Casper, WY.

Dying Light was awarded an Emmy award at the Heartland Regional Emmy Awards Ceremony in Denver, Colorado on July 16th 2022.
