Stengel Media developed a marketing campaign for the Casper Mural Project by creating 10 videos with the goal to raise money to help fund the creation of over a dozen outdoor murals painted by professional artists in downtown Casper, WY. The main video was a testimonial video featuring interviews of local artists, community members, and other people involved in the project. We captured footage using 2 cameras and a motorized slider for smooth cinematic motion to spice up the interview segments. 3 point studio lighting and professional audio equipment made these interviews look and sound amazing as well. We filmed high quality B-roll footage of the very first mural of this project on multiple days using 4K camera equipment. Moving time-lapse footage of the mural progress was obtained using a 3 axis motorized head and slider system, adding that little extra movement into the video. We utilized drone footage and added motion graphics to highlight the grand vision of the project which helped build up excitement and engagement in the videos. The other content pieces included short videos made for social media that featured text or graphics on screen that added context and information to the videos. On one video we cloned the mural artist to make it look like there was 6 versions of him working on the mural. In another video the mural artist wore an action camera to show a painter’s perspective of what it’s like painting art on a 2500 square foot brick wall. This project was a huge success and phase 2 of the mural project is already underway! More to come!
